Assessment Nursery

The Assessment Nursery is for children with additional needs.  Its aim is to provide a safe and stimulating environment to promote the child’s all round development whilst having fun.

Children are referred to the nursery by professionals such as health visitors and GPs.

Groups are kept small, enabling children to have individual attention from play-staff.   Therapists are welcome to join in with play activities and encourage therapy through play.

The play-team consists of three qualified full-time nursery nurses plus sessional workers.

A parents’ support group runs alongside Crèche and Parent and Toddler groups. The nursery is funded by Social Services, Education and Cymorth is and registered with the Care Standards in Wales (CSSIW).

During the school holidays, play-schemes are run for children up to the age of 8yrs.
