A dietitian working with children can assess and advise on ways of providing the best possible nutrition for all age groups including those with additional needs or disabilities. Advice can be offered on weaning, helping to achieve and maintain growth, mealtime behaviour, texture modification, food tolerances and allergies, specific nutritional deficiencies, nutritional supplements and tube feeding.

There is a dietitian based at Caerphilly Children’s Centre, and cover is also provided at Trinity Fields School.
